The AEI team recently returned from Germany where they took part in Domotex 2019, the world’s leading trade fair for floor coverings. While there, Gary McComas, AEI president, networked with several of the company’s agents and partners and shared the latest versions of the Tuftight LX tight end detection system and the Tufting Machine Monitoring System (TMMS).
“It was a great show with a lot of activity. I’m particularly pleased to report the tufting business is alive and well,” McComas says, adding, “But, we already knew that.”
About Tuftight LX
AEI’s latest model for detecting tight ends on tufting machines is the Tuftight LX. With this design, we have greatly improved switch functionality, on-site maintenance capabilities, tension detection level adjustment, while adding more precise tight end location identification.
About TMMS
The Tufting Machine Monitoring System (TMMS) by AEI is the most reliable and accurate instrument for broken-end detection in the tufting industry. It is the first application of its kind to use fiber-optics to deliver visible light signals to a central control system from all parts of the tufting machine.
